First of all, wish Abigail Happy 6th Month Birthday! (As the saying goes, past the difficult first 6 months, then many more 'difficult six months' to come..., dreadful!)
Parents arrived at the end of February, the weather was better than when the in-laws were here, but still cold for them. It took them about a month's time to get used to it.
I know that my parents will be here for 4-5 months, and I prepared to 'treasure' every minute and every second of it. Why? When I was 15, my parents left KL to start a business in Mentakab, Pahang. Leaving behind my younger sister and me in KL, studying. They spent 10 years in Pahang. By the time they pack up in Pahang and return to KL, I have already graduated from high school and college, and I was already in Scotland. In other words, we didn't live under the same roof for 20 years.
That's about 2/3 of my life without my parents beside me. That's why I need to spent more time with them, and shower them with as much love and affection as possible. Hoping to make up for all those lost years...
They have been here for almost 4 1/2 months now and I still think that I haven't done enough for them. They are leaving Scotland in two weeks time, and there are so much more I want to give and offer, but so little time...I am gonna miss them so, so much!

It's so funny, you regretted that your parents were not with you in your teenage time, but I was hoping that my parents were not with me in my school and college time, coz they had too much control over me...Therefore, I was pretty envied you, Pei, and Loo very much at that time, coz you guys were all out of parents' guardian, but me need to lie then only could get a chance to sneak out..Haha, what a bad girl, right??!!
